The Blaze and the Celebration at Washington Irving's Property

This is from a celebration at Washington Irving's houseWashington Irving was the author of the book called The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  In the picture below, also from the celebration, a mime has caught me, when he meant to catch a fake butterfly he was holding!  I think he's funny.

This actual scene and the ones below it are all made of pumpkins.  Some of the pictures have designs that I liked.  These were at the blaze.

 This is pumpkin Big Ben!

Yes, there are pumpkin-in-the-pumpkin-boxes out there!  Just like this one here.

The Hueblein Tower, Dead Fish with Shells on the Side, and a Fancy Style of TV

This is at the Hueblein tower, after I walked all the way up the trail.  you see that background?  I walked most of that distance from that ground in the top of the image.
These are shells at the Hartford old state house of Connecticut.  There are two old state houses, one in New Haven and one in Hartford.  These shells and fish are real!
This is a new type of TV that I think looks fancy.  It was also in the old state house in Hartford.  I also like the pole that it is on, especially since it has a platform you can put stuff on.

Houses, Corn Mazes, and Chocolate Bowls!

I was at a corn maze, since it is fall.  The plant in the background is corn.  We did the big maze.
This is a dessert in a chocolate bowl, so you eat a bowl... and not have a hard time at all!
This is a fancy house that we saw on an architecture tour that we did.  I think it looks neat, especially considering that it is very old.

My Friend and I at a Mathnasium Math Contest

I tied for first with my friend, Aresh, in a math competition.  I got second, because of a tie-breaker with him, and he got first.  I think they should always have a back-up medal (they are made of real metal!).  I really doubt that they are real silver and gold metals, but it is still obviously metal, which I think is cool.

It was a surprise meeting my friend, Aresh, even though he is extremely good at math and is probably going to a lot of math competitions.  He is very friendly, and yet that is only partly why I like him.  I also like him because I can discuss math subjects with him and he would understand.  We are almost at the same grade in math.
